Emory will have early release June 19 so students, faculty and staff can spend a portion of the day exploring issues that challenge our shared understanding of history. Online Emory events include "Observing Juneteenth: The Long Arc of Justice" on Thursday and “Juneteenth – Giving Voice” on Friday.

STUDY
COVID-19 exposes health inequities, need for more inclusive research

SCIENCE
Emory-led consortium explores brain and behavior, across the tree of life
The Simons Foundation awarded Emory scientists and their collaborators $2.5 million to develop new tools to study how the brain controls behavior in vertebrates. The consortium kicks off with a virtual symposium on Friday, June 26.
